Jerry Lada surfaced in 2022 with Jerrypop, a sunny lo-fi album recorded on cassette, drifting somewhere between garage pop and ramshackle indie. With a soft spot for cheesy Italian organs, razor-sharp bass lines and just enough slide guitar to make a cowboy tip his hat, he dives headfirst into a pool of references from the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s and probably the ’90s too.

His second album is set for release in the fall of 2025 via Belly Button Records. Once again it’s a fully homemade record, with Jerry himself behind the controls of the cassette recorder. And again it’s sun-drenched, because summer never gets boring.

Live, Jerry teams up with Stan Antheunis (Soft Boy), Xander Hamelton (Soft Boy) and Gert-Jan Van Damme (Tuff Guac) to play nothing but hits — from the recent past and the future.
